3 Trips
Showcasing geographical information.
For our first project in Information Design class, Douglass Scott asked us to depict three trips of increasing length from our Boston apartment. The first one was through Northeastern's campus, the second back to my hometown, and the last a foreign destination—I chose my grandma's house in rural Taiwan.
Organizing the data.
Another challenge that came with this project was being able to condense all of the information. The data that we had to represent includes: methods of travel, total duration, total distance, activities throughout the trip, time and duration of each activity, geographical landmarks, and average price of each trip. The end result is a long 65 x 12 inch poster.
